We started in 2007 as a group of professionals who gathered to manage and advise Alternative Investments, Private Equity, and Investment Banking Projects for Family Offices.
Our original name was Shanghai Investment Holdings Corp. In 2020 we changed our corporate structure to the UK and renamed it NCC-1701 VENTURE CAPITAL.
We chose the name of registration of NCC-1701 of the USS Enterprise, a starship in the Star Trek media franchise.  The founder admires explorers, pioneers like Magellan, Darwin, Humboldt, Galileo, Fibonacci, and other out-of-the-box thinkers. Although the Enterprise is fictional, their mission and motto, “to boldly go where no man has gone before,” is a driving force always to go beyond.
Furthermore, we are a Venture Capital Firm that provides financing and liquidity to startups, early-stage, and emerging companies deemed to have high growth potential or have demonstrated high growth.
We specialize in diverse consulting and funding for Project Finance, Infrastructure, Energy, Logistics, Real Assets, Distressed Assets, Health Care. However, any other type of business is welcome if the business model is suitable. Our preferable region is Latin America however, we have no industry constraints or geographic boundaries.
